Students interested in a teaching assistantship must meet the following requirements:

For more details, see the Graduate Assistant Handbook. Also see these documents on policies and procedures for the appointment of new graduate assistants.

If you are interested in an assistanship, you should fill out an application form. These are available from the School of Graduate Studies and Research.

The CSIS Department maintains a list of students interested in an assistantship. Teaching assistants are generally awarded based on scholarly potential as well as ability to teach in needed undergraduate areas, based on background and an interview.

If you are awarded an assistantship, you will need to complete this form listing your qualifications.
