Director of Information System Security (January 2009 – Current): LightGov LLC. Boardman, OH.

DESCRIPTION:

Its very much challenging job working with diferent information security issues, API's, ... This is the job exactly matching with my interest and my experties, so i love this job very much.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handling the Web Server and Database Server security issues on Dot Net framework with extreme design and coding on VB, VBScript, JavaScript, Python, ASP Dot Net, SQL and Oracle.
  • Client Side design on a number of websites associated with LightGov.
  • Captcha system Implementation (Using ASP Dot Net, SQL Oracle, Visual Basic and VBScript)
  • Working on API implemented for automated backup(Using Java).

Research and Graduate  Assistant (August 2006 - May 2009): Youngstown State University, OH.

DESCRIPTION:

I enjoyed the years I spend in YSU as a Research and Graduate Assistant. It was really a great experience that I have ever had during my study and job in YSU, specially the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. I would like to split my different job responsibilities during my stay at YSU.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining the existing website of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Youngstown State University and designing a new website for the department.
  • Working with the Computer Support team in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics on:
  • Network Administration (LAN) for the lab.
  • Defining the Access Control Policy and troubleshooting the all kinds of software problems on the lab.

Software Developer (January 2005 – May 2006): NICE Computer for Information Technology, Kathmandu, Nepal.

DESCRIPTION:

I used to work with software development team and got an opportunity to learn beyond the book working in a group.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Network Administration (LAN) for the lab.
  • Database design (RDBMS, OODBMS).
  • System Analysis and Design (DFD, UML).
  • Object Oriented Programs (C++, Java).

Computer Teacher (January 2005 – May 2006): NICE Computer for Information Technology, Kathmandu, Nepal.

DESCRIPTION:

I Taught Computer Information System / Computer Science subjects in the institution section of "NICE Computer for Information Technology" and other College and Institutions to Information Technology Professionals. This teaching was the teaching for the first time of my life. So, it was nice experience.

MAJOR TEACHING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Network Administration (LAN) for the lab.
  • Database design (RDBMS, OODBMS).
  • System Analysis and Design (DFD, UML).
  • Object Oriented Programs (C++, Java).

Undergraduate Internship / Industrial Attachment Program (June 2004 – August 2004): Research and Information Section, Nepal Tourism Board.

DESCRIPTION:

It was nice to work extensively with IT Professionals in Network Administration, Access Control Mechanism over Internet and Local Area Network (LAN), Security Maintenance.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analysis of different Asian tourism authorities in Asia for the research purpose of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).
  • Designed Software "Tourists Analysis System(TAS)".
  • System Analysis and Design (DFD, UML).
  • Worked with IT professionals on Network Administration, Access Control Mechanism over Internet and Local Area Network (LAN), Security Maintenance.


Experience:

Real world experience teaches us more beyond the book, which helps us to apply the theory and / or learn how it implies in real. So, I believe in study along with abundant work experiences.
